Red Brick Chicken
Our Red Brick Chicken Recipe is juicy, flavorful, and even a little spicy. Next time you get a taste for chicken on the barbecue give this recipe a whirl.
This recipe is easy and quick to make. Here it is.
Ingredients:
-Two (2) fryer chickens, 2½ to 3 pounds each. Split each chicken
-Four (4) tablespoons All Purpose Dry Rub
Preparation:
Take 3 tablespoons of the All Purpose Dry Rub and season the chicken halves, reserve the remaining rub. Cover the chicken and refrigerate for 5 to 8 hours.
Prepare the smoker with your favorite Smoking Wood. Start the smoker and bring it up to 220 Deg F. Cook the chicken for 3½ to 4½ hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 deg. F.
Remove the chicken, season with the remaining seasoning rub. Cover the chicken with a foil tent and allow to rest for 15 minutes. Thats it.
Red Brick Chicken is great with a side of red beans and rice and a side salad.
